Scope of works
The project consisted of the reconfiguration of the existing Accident & Emergency Department at St James’s University Hospital Leeds. The works were undertaken in 3 separate phases whilst maintaining the operating functions of an existing Accident & Emergency Department which entailed that when access was required through the site by the client works had to cease until the client had left the site area.
The works incorporated:
- Full strip out of the A&E Department
- Full M&E services strip out and re-installation
- Flooring, wall protections, internal doors, screens, suspended ceilings and full decoration package
The scheme also incorporated the full be-spoke joinery manufacuture of client specified nurse base stations.
