Scope of works

The scheme consisted of a single storey extension to provide general WC and Disabled WC facilities.

The works incorporated:

  • Associated mechanical and electrical services
  • Minor external work and associated alterations to the external building.
  • Initial works consisted of the excavation of site strip and foundations, including drainage alterations and removal of redundant sections and the formation of a single storey extension, cavity walls consisting of block and brick construction, brickwork to match existing
  • UPVC windows and curtain wall section with aluminium doors
  • Timber and felt roof at 10% pitch
  • Insertion of  new cavity trays to existing structure
  • Strip out existing WC and refurbish
  • Disabled WC facilities.
  • Extend and upgrade electrical, IT and telephone system
  • Extend and upgrade existing heating system

The existing premises were occupied throughout the whole of the contract.
